ARTIST CONKS

Get your very own piece of the North Maine Woods with a special fungus that grows on dead and dying trees. These fungi, known as Artist's Conks or "Shelf Mushroom", are unique growths that provide a natural "canvas" to woodburn onto. The Conks are hand selected while we journey through the woods and no two are ever alike.

We use the Artist Conks as nature's canvas and handburn our designs onto the surface. These burns are all monochrome and no colors are added. With its unusual shape and an original woodburn of high quality art you will be guaranteed to receive a unique piece of fine art pyrography that will last you forever and will compliment your rustic decorated home or cabin.   

Let us know if there is a special design you would like burned onto the artist's conk and the approximate size you desire. Prices generally range from $50 to $150 depending on the conk and design you choose. These Conks are mother nature at her best!
